Victoria “Tori” Travers was born and raised in the 1,000 Islands region and has an extensive background in the field of human resources. She has a BAS in Communication from Clarkson University and a Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management from SUNY Empire. She has always been passionate about learning about animals (having had multiple pets with chronic medical issues over the years), and recently returned to school to obtain a degree in Veterinary Technology. When asked why she chose The Animal Doctors, Tori said that she appreciated the family environment of the practice.

Having a strong background in human resources, Tori brings a unique perspective to our team that helps us to build and improve communication within our team and also with our clients. Tori is a go-getter, is kind and considerate to our clients, and is gentle with all of our patients. She is currently working as a veterinary assistant but will transition to the role of a veterinary technician once she has become certified.

When she’s not at the clinic or studying, Tori enjoys spending time with her dogs (Lila and Laney) and cats (Oakland, Stormy, and Small Cat), reading, and playing video games. A fun fact about Tori is that she used to breed crested geckos!
